For a large-scale organization's IT support department, knowing how fast the team was actually acknowledging incoming issues meant manually cross-referencing email timestamps — slow, error-prone, and rarely done consistently. Agmo's FDE team automated the entire metric with an n8n workflow.
How it works
- The workflow reads incoming support emails as they arrive.
- It automatically calculates Mean-Time-to-Acknowledge (MTTA) — how long it took the team to respond after a request came in.
- Results are compiled and logged for reporting, giving the support team an always-current view of response performance.
Why it matters
MTTA is one of the clearest signals of support-team health, but only if someone's actually tracking it. Automating the calculation turns a metric that used to get reported quarterly (if at all) into something the team can see in near real time.
